Claytons Net

Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls. It has been nearly three years since our website has been updated. So, it was time, and as Donna told me we needed to get pictures of our kittens up in a picture gallery. Please go to the Photo pages to see our kitten pictures. We have six at the present time and have had as many as seven. The pictures show you all of the seven who by age are Abbey (deceased), Cosmos (aka Schmoe), Fuzz, Monique, and our kittens we got when I retired in October of 2006, Angelica, Sabrina, and Paige.

Our most recent group are all Brown Mackerel Tabbies who were about 5-6 weeks old when we adopted them. They looked so much alike the vet’s office staff had put whiteout on the ears of Angelica and Sabrina. Paige has a cream colored toe so she was saved from that embarrassment. The night we brought them home we had them sleeping in my office on a blanket thrown over my couch. We came in on them after a while and saw this:

The Girls

Sisters! and they have been that way ever since. They play together, wash each other as well as gang up on the other cats as only Sisters can do.

As for Donna and I, we are still retired. I am on disability from heart disease as well as a bad back. I sleep more than a normal person and cannot do any labor as it hurts my back and legs. If I take enough pain medication to stop the pain I am not in any condition to drive or much of anything. So I try to stay off the meds as much as I can but do succumb when absolutely necessary.

We still live in the same house in Loma Rica, a total of Twenty Two years now. We did remodel it several years ago, and after I retired used some of that money to redo the outside decks and fencing. We have a very nice place, comfortable for the two of us and the six cats. We turned the bedrooms into offices for each of us so we don’t get in each other’s way too much.
